Sunbeams is a day nursery and preschool based in Downend, Bristol, passionate about helping parents raise curious, social, and confident young people. They felt their modern approach to childcare was no longer reflected by their brand identity. But, with our team of highly creative designers and illustrators on their side, it was child’s play to put it right!

Rain, rain, go away.
Sunbeams Nursery are committed to nurturing every child’s unique character and interests, renowned for their family-focused, ‘home-away-from-home’ approach. With an underperforming website, they needed Squarebird to step in and brighten up their brand.
Our digital designers explored the business and got to know the family behind it, highly influenced by the enthusiasm and dedication of the Sunbeams team. We refreshed their look and feel, beginning with an existing logo which needed development in line with their modern, friendly ethos. We also created a full brand guidelines document detailing new typography, photography, styling, original illustrative assets, an updated colour palette, as well as an additional social media pack with appropriate cover and profile photos.
From there, we moved onto designing and building a bespoke WordPress website to suit their new direction. The resulting site was highly informative but also approachable and simple to use, streamlining the journey of the user and facilitating enquiries.
