Plenty has been changing at Squarebird HQ – including the HQ itself! As part of a whole business update, we’ve flown the nest and migrated to a new studio space on Nailsea high street and refurbished it to better reflect who we are as a business, and nurture the team’s creativity. We have also refreshed our logo and brand assets, alongside the launch of a brand new website.
Altogether, these transformations mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our business’ story – and we can’t stop singing about it!
The Squarebird brand identity, refined.
Squarebird isn’t the same agency it was a few years ago. We’ve expanded the team, developed our capabilities and sought out plenty of new opportunities. To illustrate our refined direction as a company, and reflect the quality of work we are producing, our feathers needed a good preen.
We fine-tuned our logo by softening the points of the original ‘square’. The resulting mark is less angular and reflects our characteristically friendly, people-focused approach. Refined and modernised, the new logo is the first in a whole series of design updates throughout our brand assets. It’s the Squarebird you know and love, refined to face the future.
A digital transformation.
An exceptional website design and development agency needs an exceptional website. To better demonstrate our true capabilities and vision, we decided to remake our website from the ground up.
To get started, our designers envisioned what our new platform could look like, creating initial concepts that incorporated our updated look and feel and were more reflective of our skills.
The site was set to be slick, and demanded to be built using our own totally custom WordPress theme. As a result, we were able to tailor the website to our every need, incorporating advanced functions and demonstrating the true capabilities of our development team.
We’ve migrated nests.
To top it all off, we’ve also purchased, renovated and moved-in to a brand new studio space on the outskirts of Bristol. A brand new nest, fully feathered and ready to go. Making sure it could cater for the needs of the team, foster their skills and support the business’ future growth was of paramount importance.
We worked with a range of local partners to develop the space and realise our vision. The whole project was managed by our main contractor Vision Property Development, with help from various other local vendors, including: Swift Electrics, SJ Price Plumbing and Heating, Office Tech Suite, Avent Interiors, INTOHEAT, DAQs Airconditioning and Gould Group. Featuring two glass-fronted meeting rooms, a hand-painted mural by one of our talented designers and our trusty Shaun the Sheep, the new studio is welcoming and colourful, perfectly suited to our needs as a growing agency. You could say we’ve taken to it like a duck to water.
