The successful candidate will join the company to learn our web development process, assisting with WordPress website projects and working with the team to ensure that our portfolio of websites are well-maintained, operating in tip-top condition.

The Course

The successful candidate will be enrolled on to a Junior Developer Level 3 Apprenticeship Programme, which will take a minimum of 16 months.

We hope to offer excellent future progression prospects upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working hours will be 37.5 hours per week. You will be required to work on-site initially, with potential for flexible working 2 days per week upon successful completion of probation.

The role will include:

• Amending and building amazing websites through WordPress
• Maintaining and updating existing websites
• Conducting software updates and problem solving
• Liaising with clients and collaborating with our Account Managers
• Following the lead of other developers in working with the design team to turn their concepts into living, breathing pieces of art!

We are looking for a person who wants to apply themselves and learn quickly, in order to help support our company through an important phase of growth.

You will have a passion for IT and technology, and will have dipped your toes into tweaking or even building basic websites in WordPress.

You should enjoy the buzz and fast pace of a growing agency, bringing a sense of fun to work.

Key knowledge and skills:

• Familiar with WordPress development, HTML and CSS (essential)
• Any knowledge of Javascript, jQuery and PHP valuable, not essential
• Understanding of servers and domains desirable, not essential
• Comfortable using an Apple Mac
• Skills within Adobe Creative Suite (XD and Photoshop) and Figma desirable, not essential
• Good written and communication skills
• Good planning skills

We are looking for a top-class Business Development / Client Success Manager to join our team! We are looking for a Business Development Manager to build relationships within our existing client portfolio (and respond to inbound enquiries from this same group) to understand their individual needs and identify opportunities for our team to deliver value for them.  This might include website improvements, content development, ad-hoc graphic design pieces, website refreshes, conversion optimisation projects, social media campaigns, etc!  You will have our delivery teams – web development, design, marketing (copywriting, social media, retainer management) – at your disposal for implementation, as well as a projects team who will be on hand to take on any major projects you identify/agree with clients.

• Leading on business development initiatives, largely centred around outreaching to existing clients
• Assisting with the planning and implementation of comms journeys and marketing campaigns
• Outreaching to potential new clients
• Working with internal teams/resources and external contractors to ensure delivery of scoped/agreed work
• Collaborating with internal teams and clients to plan and execute client requests, including web development, content production, graphic design, photography/videography, SEO/SEM, PPC, social media advertising, social media management, and email campaigns, etc
• Measuring and reporting on all business development activity, assessing goals against KPIs, and ROI
• Supporting the organisation with best-practice service delivery
• Support the organisation with ensuring accuracy of billing sales and reporting

Someone with excellent business development and relationship building skills, strong knowledge and capabilities in digital marketing for B2B and B2C organisations, and an understanding of the website development process.

• Minimum 3 years experience in business development and digital marketing
• Strong understanding of various digital marketing channels, specifically websites, SEO, PPC and social media marketing
• Strong understanding of the graphic design process
• Experience in identifying website optimisation opportunities
• Knowledge of the web design and development process
• Skills in understanding and implementing good user experience
• Analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Comfortable using Apple Mac
• Excellent communication and planning skills
• Excellent at building relationships
• Confident on the phone, Teams calls, etc.
