Having outgrown their existing website, the biggest contractor in the South West came to us seeking a slick new look that took a brave approach to image and text. Lead generation was low on their list of priorities; instead, Lancer Scott’s new site was to be a validation tool showcasing the people and projects defining built environments all over the UK.
Built to last.
After working with us on hoarding designs and brand guideline updates, Lancer Scott took the plunge and embarked on a full website redesign and build. The finished website needed to be clean and incorporate lots of white space, with a text layout reminiscent of print publications. The aim of the site was to validate their status in the industry, and showcase their multidisciplinary offering.
We got to work creating style tile designs which incorporated initial copywriting concepts. Tone of voice was key for Lancer Scott, so we took the time to define a style that spoke to their vision and bravery without losing sight of their ‘get-things-done’ approach. Voice agreed, our copywriting team moved on to content creation throughout the site that refined their core message and spoke to their professional expertise.
The finished design fully represented Lancer Scott’s major contribution to the built environment of the South West, incorporating full-scale photography and bold use of text and spacing. With a structure that facilitated inter-selling between services and foregrounded their stunning case studies, the completed site fully represented the firm’s achievements, bravery, and vision.
